With the second largest railway network in the world, Indian railways has always been my first choice when it comes to traveling within India. The landscape has so much to offer as it changes from one state to another, showcasing its various rivers, mountains, farmlands, sarson (mustard seeds) farms, growing endlessly. It moves through various cultures, stopping at time to let the locals mix with ghummakkad.
I’ve started documenting the time I have spent at the station. As we maneuvered through the rush hour of Ahmedabad, I felt that I will miss the train. Rushing through the crowded station and its platform No.5, I finally managed to reach my AC Chair Car coach C1. A few minutes before departure, I jumped out and took this photograph -the first of many to come. The journey was quite uneventful, except for one lady who was on the phone throughout the two hours I was there. repeating the same story to all her relatives. I knew the story so well after that, I could have recited it to her million relatives after that!
